The Sport and Environment Commission works towards the protection and improvement of the environment through sport and sports activities.

Responsibilities of the Commission

• promoting awareness of the importance of a healthy environment among members of the Olympic family and all participants in sport;
• coordinating activities of organizations and individuals in the field of environmental protection in sport;
• organizing seminars and educational programs at the local level;
• informing the local population about environmental issues;
• preparing proposals and measures for solving environmental protection challenges.
