The highest governing body of the Olympic Committee of Serbia, according to its Statute, is the Assembly. As the highest body, the Assembly adopts the programs of activities of the OCS; the Statute and other general acts, and provides interpretations of their provisions; decides on admission to OCS membership and on OCS joining other associations or organizations; elects the President, Secretary General, Executive Board and Supervisory Board; proposes candidates for election as IOC members from Serbia; and proposes a city in Serbia as a candidate for hosting the Olympic Games or other sports competitions organized by or under the patronage of the IOC.

The Assembly of the OCS consists of

  • one representative of each member – national sports federations of Olympic sports that are members of the OCS, registered in accordance with the Law on Sport of the Republic of Serbia and affiliated with international sports federations responsible for sports included in the Olympic Games program
  • two representatives of the Sports Association of Serbia
  • athletes, participants in the Olympic Games, appointed by the sports federations of Serbia whose athletes have won medals at the Olympic Games
  • two members of the OCS Athletes’ Commission
  • regular and honorary IOC members from Serbia, as well as members of the IOC Athletes’ Commission from Serbia
  • a representative of the Association of Olympians of Serbia
  • a representative of the Paralympic Committee of Serbia
  • a representative of the Sports Medicine Association of Serbia
  • a representative of the Coaches Association of Serbia
