EOC Olympic Laurel
The award of the European Olympic Committees – EOC Olympic Laurel is presented to an individual or organization that has made an outstanding contribution to the development and promotion of sport.
Award Criteria
- outstanding contribution to the promotion of sport in their country
- achievement of exceptional results in the world of sport
- contribution to improving cooperation between National Olympic Committees of Europe
- significant role in the development and encouragement of participation in sport at all levels
The decision on awarding this recognition is made by the Council for the “European Olympic Laurel”.
The recipient of this award in 2007 was Predrag Manojlović, long-serving Secretary General of the Yugoslav Olympic Committee and the Olympic Committee of Serbia and Montenegro.
