Medical Commission performs the following activities:

• defines and monitors health policy and the implementation of healthcare measures and control of athletes – national team members, in accordance with modern medical standards;
• organizes and develops healthcare services for elite sport;
• establishes unified methodologies for determining the health and morphofunctional status of elite athletes;
• participates in organizing professional training of healthcare personnel for sports medicine within sports federations;
• implements health education activities aimed at eliminating harmful habits and the misuse of prohibited pharmacological substances among athletes;
• forms consultative services with specialists from all fields of medicine for comprehensive healthcare in elite sport;
• performs duties of the competent anti-doping body of the OCS;
• performs other sports-medical tasks important for the development of elite sport and sport in general.
